EXPANDO slitting system

"EXPANDO" slitting system is useable for applications with many cuts and size changes. It has a tangential cut with the top holder connected to the bottom counterblade through an engaging piston.

The pneumatic knife holder is mounted on a linear rail with a ball bearing bracket. The bracket has a manual clamp and the linear rail has dual pneumatic brakingclamps. The bottom knife assembly is mounted on a hardened and chromed, expandable shaft.
